Three generations of tattoo artists
EOMTP, the Escuela Oficial de Maestros Tatuadores y Piercers, is Europe's largest tattoo school: 19 schools across Spain, France and Portugal.
Since 1984
EOMTP opened in 2010 to train new tattoo artists and piercers professionally, taught by people who have spent their lives in the trade.
It was founded by Antonio Yepes, the school's director general. Antonio has tattooed since 1984, co-owned the first tattoo studio open to the public in Spain (Tatuarte Valencia) and ran the international magazine Tattooarte for ten years.
Every teacher is a working, recognised tattoo artist. Courses are in person with limited places, so the teaching is direct and personal.
