The intensive tattoo course
2 weeks of hands-on tattoo training (96 hours) plus a 3-day hygienic-sanitary course (21 hours), in a group of no more than 12.
What you'll learn
Tattoo history & styles
Where tattooing comes from and the drawing details that define each traditional style, so your work respects the craft.
Drawing & design
Designing for skin: line weight, composition, stencils and adapting a design to the body.
Machines & equipment
How to assemble, strip down and tune coil and rotary machines, plus needles, inks and every element of the process.
Technique on synthetic skin
Lining, shading and colour packing, repeated until your hand is steady.
Tattooing volunteers
Your first real tattoos on volunteers, with a teacher next to you.
Live masterclass
Watch working artists tattoo and learn how they run a session from consultation to aftercare.
Hygienic-sanitary course (3 days, 21 hours)
Sterilisation, cross-contamination, waste and safe practice, leading to the hygienic-sanitary certificate.
Starting out
Building a portfolio and next steps, with lifetime access to the EOMTP e-learning platform.
